Subject: Offensive posts

East central Iowa

I was reading below and frankly if you are honest you have to smile.

We live in America where you can no longer say almost anything about something without offending somebody.  It goes from tractors to politics to religion.

You can do what I do, ignore the offense and mildly curse under your breath or you can do like so many and whine.

One of the larger jokes perpetrated on the public is that offensive jokes or comments shouldn't be allowed online because children might read them.  I work on computers and from a very wide range of homes.  I've yet to find a computer from a home with kids that doesn't have material on it that I wouldn't dream of posting here.

Then too, I've sat at Hardee's and McDonald's and listened to the conversations of what appear to be 12+ year old kids.  My friends and people I work with do not use that kind of language in normal day to day conversation.  (exceptions might be moving livestock or working under machinery in November in the field)

Honesty is becoming the victim of all this alleged concern for "feelings."  Man up.

Note: Please delete this post, it's rather offensive.
