North central MO | Just driving to Denver thinking to much.
With the availability of cheap hay and corn my math says I can feed+ yardage them for under $1200 for the year. ($2ish a day in feed) That’s cheaper than the interest on the land required to graze them locally.
Could LRP an unborn fall calf at #500 June delivery for $1800. Which costs $95 a head leaves a pretty good margin.
Tell me what Iam missing?
