Cooperator: Why?
That is all I ask.
Why?
Why the change? Why go from a poster who had actual productive posts to one who simply inserts politics into every thread he can, then jumps to other areas and stirs the pot, spams everything everywhere?
Why?
Why sit and revive old threads, sometimes posting replies repeatedly to the same one with nonsensical replies, appearing to get a rise out of them?
Why?
Why take advantage of the decline of Agtalk-II, pushing the limits in other sections then going nuts in the section where the owner literally says "we aren't moderating, moderate it yourself" while the owner allowicates 0 resources to the section? Well DKO, this is my interpretation of "self moderate", complaining falls on deaf ears, asking for more mods goes no where, and half the crowd says "its his sandbox, he can do what he wishes" while ignoring the massive value, the massive amount of useful, available information, information not hidden behind an unsearchable Facebook group or otherwise, and the massive potential for this site to keep generating useful content.
Why?

Long story short, I found your resume on the second search I made. Same email is used there as is here.
To those thinking I spent hours digging, searching, researching, no. I spent about 15 minutes googling. I have spent more time writing this reply than all the googling and other replies on the subject I've made. And no, commenter, I don't have anything to do at this time of the year due to the weather. Waiting on the weather to change so I can proceed on many other things, but the derecho kinda messed it up. Probably after the 4th I can continue on again, so I don't get stuck in a storm brining back equipment.
Cooperator, you are well educated. 3 degrees, two bachelor equivalents and a masters, a stone throw away from a doctor. A Doctor! All 3 in agricultural areas. Two of those degrees, including your highest, are not from your current homeland, but from the country you have rallied hard against here recently. It even appears you are recently retired by choice, you're over the age of SS in the US and probably the equivalent in Canada as well.
Why?
You come from a farm it appears. Your first half of employment was working with farmers, it appears that is where you got your username from. The second half was different, but you still basically worked with the land and the people. None of these positions were low level either, you oversaw departments, locations, regions, across various industries.
Why?
Your thesis is an good agricultural subject, some of it is even published online. Its even a reasonably important subject

You list and prop yourself up, and it appeared to be true until recently.
Why?
You appear to have done well in life, whatever the circumstances. A decent house in a decent neighborhood. The Internet Archive shows you had your location as Calgary and the information I found shows that to he true. Lots of things to do in that decent town.
Why?
You routinely wrote for or to multiple agricultural and other publications, so much so one of them has you as an author to sort by, even though it doesn't appear you were an actual employee of that publication. However you do appear to have something against farmers and foreign competition, even as far back as 25 years ago. Your political views don't appear to have changed much either, aside from you are now extremely vocal and crude here. Did you join a new political group?
Why?
So, why do this? You're retired. You appear to own or have interest in EVs and hybrid cars, even if you still own a prius or a BMW, they still have travel and towing capabilities. Why not get a little pop up camper or travel trailer and see your province? Alberta has Banff or however it is spelt we hear about down here, why not see it? Why not see the rest of your country? Travel up the Al-Can, see both seas. Why not see the US? Mexico? A hybrid is usually very efficient on fuel costs. Why not visit family? Old friends and co workers?
Why?
Why do you spend your retirement ticking off people on a 25 year old Farmer Forum?
Why?
Or is there a reason? Is this your retirement? Are you a shut in? Is there something preventing you from leaving your home? Was your retirement actually forced? Is your life these forums? Did something happen and you have no one to turn to? Did covid do something?
Why?
Is this unwillingly your life? Pinging back and forth between a handful of EV, Hybrid, and car forums, similar Facebook groups, and New Ag Talk?
Why?
Did something happen in the past you resent the people here? Was your family's farm lost? Did you lose the farm and as a result went back to school for those other degrees and had to make a life doing something you didn't want to do and are now taking it out on us here because you see something that saved us but doomed you and are now seeing similar events happening again? Is it happening or happen to whoever has or had the family farm? Did an accident end it all? What happened?

Why is all I ask. Why the sudden change?
Why?
When I am new to something or don't know anything about something I sit and research it until there is nothing left to research. If it is a machine I take it apart, crawl in it, see exactly how it works.
You can't do that with people though. You can only ask why?
So I ask why a retired farm kid, who's well educated, had a successful career, gained a resentment for where he came from, where he was educated, made it known to an audience in print multiple times, signed your name to it, yet were reasonably helpful here until recently when that resentment came back is doing this now?
Why?
Why is all I ask.
We don't know what we aren't told and can't or haven't found. You may find help and support here, but we don't know what we don't know.
