sw MI | 15 years or so ago we bought an irrigation pump powered by Deere. When we got it it had a Yanmar/Deere engine. We were skeptical but dealer said deere owned yanmar. It turned out to be an awesome engine. About 15,000 hrs later the engine is giving up. So we ordered two new ones. One to replace the tired one and the other to take some pressure off the other one and to have a backup. The new ones don't have any Deere marking anywhere on them like the old one did. So, does anyone know what's going on? Does Deere own Yanmar anymore? Thanks for your input. | |
