Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | It has been a long time since my wife and I have gone to a movie in a theater. Been long enough that I can't even remember the name of the movie.
But I do remember that we walked in, I took some cash out of my wallet, gave it to the girl, and she gave us a couple of tickets.
Today I found out they don't take cash, so we had to charge two movie tickets on our credit card (we don't like to borrow money for a movie).
It cost the theater in the long run because we sure as hell don't put Coke and popcorn on a credit card.........................we watched the movie thirsty and hungry.
That said, it was worth it. We saw the movie "Pressure." It starred Brendan Fraser as General Dwight D. Eisenhower and several other actors I didn't know, but good actors just the same.
The movie followed the true story of "Ike" and several other folks and the decisions they had to make at the last minute before launching the troops on D-Day.
I have said that I think Eisenhower has been the best POTUS in my lifetime (even though I was a kid); this movie confirmed that (to me anyway).
Again, I'd recommend the movie "Pressure".
