Reddirtfarmer's post below got me to wondering what brand of cattle waterers you recommend?

I am needing to install several in some pastures and in some new lots.

I do not want to run electricity to any of them. 

Most places will have a two inch pvc line from a well feeding them, others will be below ponds.

Here is what I have been using and they have been reliable, a lot of them go 10 years without being touched.  But I don't like how you are supposed to have a big pile of dirt on the back.  My cows walk it all off and I wish it was just a flat concrete top.
