| I I have a 1996 Chevrolet half ton pickup with a 4.3 L V6 engine. I realize that it's not a powerful engine, but it ran fine in the past. It starts fine and runs okay until it warms up. Then it seems to struggle to accelerate through the gears. It does finally get up to highway speeds but it feels like it's lurching back and forth slightly as I accelerate through the gears.It has 140,000 mi on it.
I replaced the spark plugs, fuel and air filters, which didnt make a difference.The plugs had about 40,000 mi on them and looked pretty normal.It does not use oil between changes.
Any ideas where to look to troubleshoot this issue? The check engine light does not come on, nor does it throw any codes.
