| As far as world GDP goes, the US and China account for just under 43% . Germany is next with 4% , Canada is only 2%. Everyone can bluff and bluster all they want, this is about 2 countries trying to rebalance trade. We have been the drunk at the bar buying everyone a drink on a credit card for a long time.
