Central Texas | Listened to part of Rush Limbaugh's show today and he was on his anti-ethanol kick again. He also quoted someone from the Huffington Post that was also anti-ethanol. One of them was talking about an ethanol company called Pacific going bankrupt. All anyone keeps saying is how it takes more energy to produce ethanol than it produces. Now they are also claiming ethanol is a bigger polluter than gasoline. I also saw on some website last week that was claiming how much water it takes to produce ethanol. Who is really behind all this? Seems no matter what happens with oil prices, which are apparently heading up again, ethanol always is the villan. It makes me wonder if ethanol will be able to stick around with all the bashing it's getting.
