Marshal County, Minnesota | I have recently purchased a new to me, 1988 John Deere 8820 Titan II combine and a 2001 JD 930 F flex header. The combine is equipped with the Dial-A-Matic Header height control which is new to me and have not found much info elsewhere on the internet. The header has hydrolic fore-aft reel control. All left/right references are if I was sitting in the cab.
On the Combine what I have on the
Right- 2 hydrolic hoses 1-male, 1 female.(I am %99.99 certain these are for the reel motor)
1 male hose
Left- 1 hydrolic hook up attached to the side of the feeder house
1 9-pin electrical connector with 6 male & 3 female pins
On the header I have on the
Right- 1 male hydrolic connection
2 female hydrolic connections
1 large 3 pin connector located about halfway between the feeder house and the end of the header
Left- 2 female hydrolic connection
1 16-pin connector with all male pins.
So my question is this , what hooks up to what? And do I have to do something to make them all work?
Plus is someone can give me a quick tutorial on how to use the Dial-A-Matic?
Thank You.
