| Younger guy *ok mid 30s* ;) has started officially doing welding, blacksmithing work on his farm. Name on shop, phone number, few adds.. I had him fix one item last fall. No complaint. Not cheap but better than I can do, so fair.
I brought him a shank off cultivator. I bought used, the bushing had failed, hole pulled out. I called, dropped it off. “No hurry, just call when done”
Today I get text. “I dropped it off in your shed bu freezer”
The yard. Barn, silo, semi in front West, 100 yards double garage/house on East. Front of garage bushel basket, air tank, large cooler. Sign on locked door. “Deliveries in cooler please”. *we get some temp sensitive meds*
He does not lay on cooler, next to it. He goes 60 more yards by dryer bin. My truck garage I had door open. You can’t see it until you go past corner.
So his tracks he stopped at garage, went to door. Decided “nope” backs up, drives back of woods, turns around, sees door open stops on way back. Goes in shed to put a spring tooth unit inside?
Yes my fault not replacing garage door opener.
But I am bit upset he toured farm, went in shed. Then covered with text. It’s great he delivered it. No idea why? I will be within a mile of his place tomorrow at 11am and 2pm. Now I have to send payment.
I don’t go into neighbors I know, have worked with without permission. And I now text before turning into yard. | |
