Subject: Irrigation engine driveshaft angle

SE Nebraska
I’m working on an irrigation project where I have a pump down a creek bank and an engine at top of the bank. I put a picture on here with a very rough sketch of what I’m trying to do. The red represents a platform of railroad ties or something that I plan to build to elevate engine up. Then red X is the engine itself. The line from the X to the pump driveshaft represents a PTO shaft.

Is that too steep of a driveline angle between engine and pump driveshaft if I have a connecting driveshaft built with a CV joint in it?? Pretty much figured regular U joints would never work.

Thank you
