Argh.. letting the Christmas pudding settle while updating the export numbers.  I've often wondered why the trade does not make more of the difference between the Census Wheat export numbers and the Foreign Ag Service numbers which are the ones reported weekly.  ( http://apps.fas.usda.gov/export-sales/wkHistData.htm )

It's the Census numbers that are used in the WASDE.. and they differ than the FAS.. by.. quite a bit.  I looked them up this afternoon and found the difference.

I updated the weekly numbers..

Anywho the projected pace.. at 805 myn bushels plus the average difference between the Census and the FAS.. of 60.4 would put the expected WASDE exports to come in around 865.4 vs the 800 currently in the WASDE.. fwiw.

Edit add:  I pulled out the Flour and Product exports from the Census data for review.  Note the Census Grain Exports are different than the FAS Grain exports.. so it's not correct to simply add only the Flour and Product exports as the Census also seems to gain on Grain exports.. (containers..??)  Anywho it's this TOTAL column that is used in the WASDE below... and how it gets there.. Note for the Current year the Census data is only updated through October.
