NW Ohio | I have a TMX 2050 that was losing GPS signal yesterday. It would go between RTK fixed to RTK float, to DGPS, back to Fixed or Float and it would do it quite frequently. Multiple times per minute even. Xfill did fill in sometimes, but not always to my understanding. My help tried a new AG25, and antenna cables and neither one fixed the problem. What is the next most likely issue? It is running RTK from the Ohio CORS network. I use the serria wireless 450 modem and I tried 2 different modems that are on 2 different carriers. I had another vehicle out there with another TMX 2050 and only lost signal once in the field but never had an issue as Xfill worked as expected. Kinda at a loss as I was expecting a bad antenna or cable. all of this happening in FMX+ app.
also, it seems like my TMX displays occasionally have an issues tracking satellites to begin with. Or it may track them but say "No GPS Position" even though it has 14+ satellites. | |
