Subject: charcoal rot

NE Iowa
Have a field of beans with pretty bad charcoal rot, I noticed these areas getting lighter earlier this year and thought it was mostly due to the sand pockets and veins. But the beans never lost their leaves, leaves shriveled up and died never fell off, plants look a darker color, and yield is way off compared to the rest.
Had very little rain most of August and September. Field was Strip-tilled last fall, no spring tillage.
Anyone have good ways of dealing with Charcoal Rot if I put this field back to beans in a couple years? Go to corn for 4-5yrs?
