| Day # 2 of using the meter housings . All is good.
Here is the contact email.
[email protected]
These meters are the 1st 3 he has sold. Fit & finish is awesome!! The dreaded half width shut offs is in my opinion solved. There stainless also with a poly bushing in the middle vs foam. No more twist.
I pulled a meter out today & had zero issues. Sure is nice being able to actually close the doors without a hammer & hoping they open back up all the way
Now the other stainless parts were purchased from Fertilizer Equipment Co outta east Grand Forks. Everything that was mild steel is stainless now,, except the the product tubes. Those will changed next year. I have been in contact with Luke on this everyday & suggested he make the other parts besides the housings ,, just so the "fit" is matched. Now i never had any major issues other than die grinding one hole one for a bolt . The other thing I forgot to tell Luke about the threaded hole for the psi hose for the air gauges . My bad ,,, so i have no meter box psi gauge reading on The gauges on ft of tank. I will be sending him the info where to put this hole also.
Anyone that has any ideas for this ,, please get in touch with him & let him know.
I can't say you will have any for this fall, but so far after 200 acres on my strip tiller im very satisfied
He is asking $4,000 for the housings,, Deere cost is $2,900.
Honestly Luke told me ,," i wanna sell you this & never have to sell you anything else ,, selling parts is not what i wanna do. I just wanna make this & it lasts till you get rid of it or quit using it "
