NW Ohio | Anybody on here feeding angus steers crossed with holsteins? Looking at breeding some cows like this and the steer buyer is saying he will pay $0.15/lb premium for these over just straight holstein steers. On the other hand, the feed salesman is telling me they don't grow as fast and he would feed a holstein anyday over a cross. Just looking for somebody who has actually done it to give a little feedback. TIA. | |
