SW WI | I know this is machinery, but I think the guys here on livestock talk just seem to cover things like this better. Just my level of comfort since I read here everyday (I don't always make it to the machinery page), and it just feels like I know the regulars here. Looking for a new bi-fold rake, I have an older H&S 12 wheel rake. It was sort of rough when I got it and draw pin popping out twice over the years with other dings that I don't know where they came from (and I'm the usual operator) make me think its time for something else. I'm looking at a Kuhn, probally want the center kicker wheel. I have some nasty hills that is to steep for corn so we make hay on them. A problem that I have had is the H&S won't trail decent sometimes. It wants to bounce down the hill. Maybe they all will when I go bi-fold, the old NH 258 (single) trailed good, just took long time to rake. What brands do you like or have had good luck with? Thanks. | |
