Subject: grain bin sweep end tire, other options? pics....


Caldwell County Kentucky		Got about a 1970 bin sweep for a 24' bin. The original end rubber whatever is long gone. Went to a bin dealer some years ago and they sold me this end tire thing. Worked fine until the rubber tires wore down.

I guess I'll get some rubber sheeting/belting and cut it to size.

What other ideas do you have on how to make the sweep feed itself into the corn pile?

I know, newer designs sweeps with a gear reduction on the end and grain vacs are better. But the bins and sweep are what I have.
