Bloomfield MO | Without dropping the oil pan and pushing the rod/piston, out the top, is there a way to remedy a stuck ring? Excessive fuel and smoke was noticed at startup, with fuel seeping around exhaust manifold. Removed turbo and manifold, started engine and definite white smoke from #2. So, idea is broke injector o ring, stuck injector or loss of compression. Pulled valve cover and rocker box, removed #2 injector and o rings are good. Injectors were all exchanged at a reputable pump shop very recently, as well. Gonna have injector tested today but my gut tells me low compression. That’s the whole story. | |
