western iowa,by Denison | We have a 2388 with singles and run a 6row 30 corn head and 20ft 1020 bean head-get along really well except with bean head on side hills-which all my farms are side hills-thinking about buying a newer 3020 head but very few that are 20ft-my brother has 3020 25fts on hand all the time--we are pushing enough problems with out a field tracker with a 20ft-so has anyone put a field tracker on a 2388? or would I be better off to buy a 2388 with it on-? Does anyone run a 3020 head? Or is a 1020 the same?
We tried a 8row 30 corn head but we get more done with the 6row as to get back on rounds and unload-we only have 2 that harvest Adam runs the combine and I usually haul away. I could hire the neighbors to combine but I personally enjoy running the combine or hauling it away myself-and we do bale the bean stubble -before drilling rye so like to drop that in a windrow.

Just buy a 3020 20ft? Buy a different 2388 with duals and field tracker-go to 25ft head?Run 8row30 corn head?
Buy 2388-leave 25ft 3020 on combine and run old 2388 only in corn?
