After looking for a good used spreader with no luck I am leaning towards a new one. Salesman says double chain and hydraulic speed/clean adjustment is the only way to go...but about 1600.00 more. Have been renting a similar one with single chain and rope pull adj just fine. Spreading 1-6 month old beef pen pack. Worth the extra coin?? Spreader will last me 20 years I hope.
