Subject: CaseIH vs Shoup, planter rebuild

So. IL
Needing to go through our 1240 caseih planter this winter and got some prices together. Need new openers, closing disks, chains, firming point, and meter disks for beans, and a couple other small things, shoup is $5300, and the meter disks would come from case, can not find aftermarket. Caseih dealer wants $9150 for the same list. Are the case parts that much better? We have had good luck with everything else from shoup. Thanks
