West Central IA | Dad modified a pedal tractor for my 2.5 year old son. Bigger tires, bearings on the pedal crank, big rear axle with bearings, heavier smoother steering, multiple sprocket/gearing choices, a "shift" lever on the side, and 4255 decals....just like daddy's! He also put a heavier axle and bigger tires under a wagon. He's working on a few more for my nephews. He also built a hay rack and a 4 row planter when I was a kid.
