Subject: Older Farmers and Auto Steer?

South Central South Dakota
Over this past year i purchased a basic autosteer unit to Put in our Big 8970 and swap over to the wind-rower. Well my 83 year old uncle is the one that dose a lot of the running in the 8970 and had no issues putting in a share for the system. But he won't use it or even try it. I have tried several times and can't seem to get him to at least give it a shot. I would really like him to try it so he would not under lap in the fields or be majorly overlapping granted I'd rather have that then the under lapping spots. especially before planting. My hired man who is 63 was skeptical at first but really appreciated it in the wind-rower this summer.

Any ideas or suggestions? How have some of the older farmers in your areas or on your farms adapted to getting auto steer? are they for it against it? or like my uncle tells me now thinks it's a big waste of money and doesn't do a guy a darn bit of good?
