Subject: Help wiring a new pump in the well

I just installed a 1/2 hp submersible Simmer pump in my well It is a 220V pump with two hot wires and one ground wire. I got everything installed, until I realized there is only one "hot" wire coming into my shed where the outlet box is. The other wire coming if from the power pole is a ground wire.

My question is: Do I need an electrician to bring another hot wire in from the power pole to the breaker box, or can I just hook both hot wires from the pump to the fuse box hot wire?
