Three guys go into a backwoods motel..They ask for a room and the counter fella says it's $30..Each digs out $10 and they pay the clerk..   Little while later the owner comes in and in discussing the days' receipts, the owner says that the three fellas got overcharged.  Owner says to take (5) one dollar bills back to the boarders...  Clerk heads off, but figures he can make a buck off this deal.. He gives each a one dollar bill, puts two in his own pocket..

Now, each guy paid $10 to begin with (30)  each got a dollar back (then each paid $9--totals up to 27)... The two dollars skimmer had in his pocket adds up to $29.... Where's the other dollar?
