Greene/Orange/Louisa/Albemarle/Madison county Virg | Today my dad, myself, and hired man bushogged 50 acres of land that we never planted, due to the extremely wet spring. Before we folded the wings up and drove home, I thought this was a neat picture.
The 1st tractor is a 9700 ford hooked to a 15 ft bushog batwing
2nd tractor is a 8870 new holland hooked to a 20 ft woods batwing
3rd tractor is a T4 75 new holland hooked to a 12 ft woods batwing.
We cut the 50 acres in about 3 hrs. I thought we made pretty good time. Dad ran the 9700, I ran the 8870, and John loves that little T4 so he ran that. We have 25-30 acres to do tomorrow and we were joking that it will take longer to drive there then it will to cut it.
