NW Indiana | The numbers I'm coming up with more than a 3.5 million acre switch to corn is too much. 94 and 83.5 is about right. Will be interesting to see if other crops allow more or less than 177.5. Current ratio is 2.23 which is too strong corn imo. Dry spring and we plant 95-96 which would make many regret not planting more beans come fall. Not a lot of wild NAT acre predictions but lots of chatter on corn being the clear winner. Stocks report is also going to be big as it appears more demand needs factored in. Anything wild and the market will have to act quick to change minds. Even with these acres we need to grow 177 and 51 so I still expect plenty of volatility the next 4 months.
