Subject: What to charge for being an executor of an estate??

Quincy, IL
I have been the administrator of my uncles messed up estate for 6 years. There were 6 rental houses, with along with a few other properties. Most had loans for more than what the properties were worth. (he invested in the bad parts of town, didnt get good quality renters) After all is said and done, the estate has a little over $20,000.00 left. The attorney and accountant still need to be paid along with myself. There are 5 siblings that will inherit what is left over from that. So, do I charge so much an hour or a percentage of the estate? Or are there other ways to come up with a figure?? It has been a long and drawn out affair, 75 miles away from me, many trips to see about properties and court stuff. I'm the only one in the family that was willing (or sucker) to take it on.

Thanks!!
