Let's assume corn stays at $5.50
per bushel, seed and fertilizer prices stay the same....all prices
stay as of today. Factor in property taxes, machine costs, land
improvement costs etc.
Factor in the interest paid on a loan, or the interest one
could have earned.
How long would it take to pay off this farm?
I am not a farmer. I just have a farm related occupation.
So, I don't know all this.
I just know some of you sat down with a sharp pencil.
EDIT I forgot....
Let's assume you average 200 bushels per acre on the corn.
