| I have been looking at older disks and want to get away from JD. I have looked at several 496's and all but one need to eithor be welded on the center main frame were the wheels raise it up or else the main frame were the wings fold it up in the rear center frame. Are these disks really that feeble? I kind of wanted to get away from a JD disk but don't want to buy a wreck waiting to happen. I have done a search in machinery talk and in general they seem to do a good job but have no desire to buy one if the main frame will not hold up. Not much else around besides JD or case so am pretty much stuck with one or the other. | |
