Frytown, Iowa | It's my sons 3rd birthday today and there was a local farm toy auction where this 20 petal tractor was being sold...
Showed up a half hour before they got to the petal tractors and while waiting bought and ate an awesome pork burger from "country cookin"... thinking about how much I'm going to have to shell out to get this tractor...as they got to the petal tractors they started going anywhere from $350 to over $500... No way... I was talking myself out of it... Then I thought how many times is my oldest going to have a 3rd birthday? And as they started on the tractor I decided I was going to buy it regardless... It ended up going for $250 which I was pleased with... I over paid for the wagon but I think my son will go bonkers over the set.
On the way out an older gentlemen congratulated me on the tractor and said I got a heck of a deal on it... Apparently it's from 1965 with original seat, pretty good condition and still has the pin and chain in the back...
I don't know who's more excited? Me? or my son tonight?
20 is a 1965
4020 is a 1969
4620 is a 1971
The 4620 gets used seasonally
The 4020 gets used weekly
And the 20 will probably get used daily from today on...
