Lapel, In | Heard on the radio this evening there is a federal mandate that all road and street signs must be Upper case first letter and all other letters must be small case. Instead of STATE STREET they must now be changed to State Street.Supposed to be a cut off date to change them all. Big Brother says us baby boomers have an easier time reading the latter lettering. What a crock. Going to cost millions when we are broke. Not against the change if/when the signs need changed.Just don't like the feds mandating stuff like this. No, I didn't Snopes it. | |
