EC IL | Looking at a couple different '09 Steiger 335's, got the build sheet on both they are pretty much identical. One has 3700hrs other one has 1500 hrs for $41000 more. Is that worth it for 2000 less hours? I plan on keeping tractor a long time, and will use for strip till and tile plow now, maybe planter down the road. These are the two best deals I have found after months of searching for units with 3 pt pto hi flow hyd and diff lock.
Are there any issues that come up as these tractors get a few hours on them to justify buying the lower houred one for more $? This will be the "big tractor" now replacing the 7140 my dad bought new 25 yrs ago that has only been in the dealers shop once and that was for a rear main. No way it will be that reliable, right?
Oh, and neither one has the red leather seat. Bummer. But I know a guy who has a Steiger with a red leather seat, maybe he would let me sit in it sometimes? | |
