Lapel, In | One of those days when I came in second place.Went to an auction. Always wanted a 4440. A little on the rough side, but nothing I couldn't fix with about 2-3 grand. Paint, a compete cab kit, a few leaks,couple lamp bezels and bulbs, rear tires about gone, and about due for an underhaul. Thought I had it bought at $16,000. Auctioneed kept pounding and pounding and pounding . I made it bring $18,250. I will find a nicer one some day.
4H auction tonight. I always have bought the grandkids 2 or 3 pigs Best pig in the barn. Same thing . Made it bring $550. Grandma would have died if I bought that pig.lol.Granddaughter's last year. Best 4H pig auction I ever attended. They must have averaged $350-$400 and I thought we were having hard times ? lol.
Next grandchild about 6 years away. I hope I live that long. lol. This is when life is fun. | |
