Subject: Goodyear tractor tires

Oregon

First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I need a pair of 18.4R 26 R-1 tires for a 6320L tractor we just bought. We bought it for orchard work but it will also be used as a utility tractor and maybe pull a grain drill and light/small tillage work.
I prefer Firestone 23 degree radials. They have been good for us on several row crop tractors. The only tire available from Firestone in that size is an FWD tread. Will that tire be suitable?
I had a set of Goodyear Dyna Torque radials in the early nineties that I thought were fine back then. I've used only 23 degree Firestones since then though, only because I feel they are the best pulling tread design our use which is 99% dry dirt work, about 50% hard dry dirt work.
According to my tire guy, the Dyna Torque is available in that size. I did a search and there seems to have been a loud majority against Goodyear...but I stumbled onto TheGrizz on some older posts. It sounded like he acknowledged past failures and vowed to do better in the future . I didn't see any real resent posts.
So, have the Goodyears improved?
Should I just go with the FS FWD tread?
