| Have baled straw in the past following a rotary combine and have had troubles with the straw feeding in the baler. We have a Vermeer 605 super J with the kicker wheels. Going to have to bale several bales this wheat season and wondered if anyone had tricks or ideas that can help the straw feed better. Attachments or speed of pickup anything that might work. In the past we have tried to bale with different moisture in the straw and even driving over the windrow before baling helped a little. It seems the straw is so fluffy it doesn't feed very well.
Thanks for any ideas | |
