Vauxhall Alberta Canada | Had another cow bloat and die today. The third one in the last month. Have probably lost 20 in the last 5 or 6 years all due to bloat. I have had a couple of vets look at them and can't come up with a good reason for it. One did mention that it is likely due to E.coli that is naturally present in the soil. It tends to happen just before the weather changes. A few years ago we had 4 cows and 3 calves die in one day just before a late fall snow storm. Any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening again? | |
