Nebraska | I am having trouble with my Ardusimple RTK GPS setup. I am using the basic FP9 boards for both my base and rover. I have had this setup since 2020 and started out with the long range radios. In 2023, I started using the Wifi cards and NTRIP through RTK2go. A few years ago I upgraded to these Spark Fun antennas that are in the link below. I have the base mounted on the top of a grain bin.
I ran this setup all of last week and everything worked very well. I did not run Sunday or Monday and tried Tuesday and could not get an RTK fix. The "NO RTK" led on the board has been on solid on both the base and rover boards. I swapped the antenna from the tractor to the base station and no change for the most part. The NO RTK led did go out for a few minutes but then came back on. When I check RTK2go my base is always listed. Base name is "NosttamBase" if is of any help. I am stumped as to what could have changed in those two days. We've had very little rain this spring. Sunday was a very windy day but everything is well secured. The antenna is mounted at the top of the bin and the board is mounted in a weather tight box at the bottom of the bin. Nothing looks out of place. Am I correct in thinking that the problem has to be at the base because of the no rtk led being on?
