Sunflower State | Normally we purchase most fundraising stuff that comes home, other wise our neighbors would run us off for selling every item for every cause from school. My seven year old daughter said tonight she wanted to raise money for jump rope for heart (money is due tomorrow too). Trying put her off as best I could she would not stop. So I look at her sheet and in the first line there is $7.44 marked down and her name next to it. I asked who donated and she says "I did, I took the money out of my spending envelope". So my lovely blond put her money where her heart is. We spent a couple hours working the neighborhood... Best yet, she broke the $50 mark and she was so excited and said "I got over $50, I saved a life!" My 7 year old gave her dad a character building moment. I love that girl.
