Subject: fertilizer uan storage

North Central Iowa
What are the pros and cons of building facilities for your own 32% and dry fertilizer. Is there enough margin to make it beneficial? for roughly 20K acre operation. Idea would be to hire a dedicated agronomist just for our operation do all recs and be able to buy and store our own dry fertilizer. MAP, POTASH, UREA, and a 4th bay for sulfur etc.? located 4-5 hours from adm. located northwest Iowa. what do people figure saving per ton per year on uan and dry fertilizer by storing themselves. I understand that's a loaded question but as a safe rule of thumb anyone that has done this what do they figure when calculating roi. any insight is much appreciated.
