West Central Iowa | I am needing a cable for this loader joystick control and can not find anyone that has it or that can custom make it. The wire cable threaded ends are 10-32 thread which is small for a valve control cable, most are 1/4" or 5/16" Also the threaded ends on the cable housing are 2 different sizes, with one being 5/8"-18 NF thread and the other one being 7/16-20 NF thread. From what I have been told most 10-32 cable ends are going to have a 7/16-20 threaded end and a 5/8"-18 can not be installed on this small of cable.
The joystick is on a Case-IH 5140 tractor with a Westendorf TA-28 loader. I have check with Westendorf and they say they have only used 2 different styles of Joysticks and they have send me drawings of their joysticks and cables and neither one is appears correct.
Here is a picture of the joystick and of the valve it is attached to.
