Subject: Sowing wheat TX Panhandle a few pictures



Texas/New Mexico Stateline

Just finished up (I think) in time for Labor Day weekend. 2390 Case, 41ft Crustbuster hoe drill, 1973 Chebby truck. Sowed pretty good until the past couple days when it got pretty dry and windy. I'm thinking I didn't have it deep enough. Oh well, we usually get more showers in the fall if any of it dries out. A short video from in the cab:

 See this a lot this time of year around here, trucks with the beds up that is.

 

 Yes, I know the box will fill up with dust if I leave the lids open, I was on the last couple rounds and was having to stop and scoop seed over the holes.
