Moweaqua, IL | Last night, I walked to the end of the lane to see how much rain we had. Walking back, I noticed how cool the back side of the cell looked in the dark and yelled for my wife to come and see. She came outside screamed, "There's a big turtle in the yard!" I said "Bull@#$&, I just walked through there." Sure enough, 10' from the porch, there he was. We worked in the yard, which is huge, all afternoon and evening. I never saw anything of him then. We had a pretty big blow and bam, there he was. He was not a happy turtle when I loaded him up to go down the road. I'm half wondering if the storm blew him in.
