Subject: JD 7000 FERTILIZER OPENERS

South West Michigan

We have a 7000 CONSERTIL ('83) with the double disc fertilizer openers that has 1/2 of the blade bearings in POOR shape. I have been on the SHOUP'S site looking for just the replacement bearing but can not find them. They offer a complete disc/bearing combo though, but our discs are in decent shape(13" vrs. 13 1/2").  Is there a way to remove a bearing out of the disc and match up a bearing locally and re-install? I also noted that there are let/right handed threads involved like the seed openers,is that correct? THANKS.
