WI | Looking at a used FP240 and I am considering to put a Dion F61 rotary 4 row-30" corn head on it. How does the Dion rotary head compare to the NH 3RN head? I am assuming the Dion head will last a lot longer for the $25K-$28K price tag I have seen on it compared to $13K for the NH head.
Also, would a Case 235 Magnum be able to handle the the FP240 with the F61 Dion Rotary head? The Case specs. show it puts out 195 PTO Hp at 2000rpm but I am not sure if this can be increased somehow. The NH FP240 requires 180-300Hp and I prefer not be on the low end of PTO Hp in case I need it in heavy crops. | |
