west-byGod-Pa. | I know EVERYONE who likes coffee-likes it “ their” way: me especially. Years ago, I found the flavor profile I was crazy about in Kenya AA-which AA refers to a size of bean-not taste or quality.
Some years ago, on a trip to Canada, I had an opportunity to try TIM HORTON’S: oh, my !!! That is it! Eventually, HORTON’S moved into the States, eventually we got one local. Then, a year & a half later-coffee tasted bad. WHAT!! Found out some venture capitalist bought the company( along with Burger King). I am certain the coffee was cheapened. I had a chance meeting with someone close to the source. “Yup, they ruined it”! Nuts!
Just a few days ago, I read about a coffee cooperative in Mexico that is supplying coffee direct from local farmers. Just got it : tried it this morning. Fragrance in bag is definitely better. Flavor was not up to my standards, BUT, I think I need to adjust the amount. So, time will tell. The Website & coffee name is Cafe’ Justo. Give it a try! | |
