Ohio | Is there anyone in here that has any involvement in raising honeybees?
As a kid, I can remember Grandpa keeping 6 or 7 hives around for the honey, but more importantly, for the pollunation benefits. I know we dont have the hay fields for pollen like we use to but I believe theres still enough around to keep the bees happy.
I remember helping him and just having the basic knowledge of how the hives worked and the problems/work that is associated with them.
Im thinking about maybe trying to get a few hives going again.
