Subject: rogator boom shut off

I have an 854 rogator. I am tired of trying to stare down the dot of foam and flipping all booms and hoping you covered it all and didnt overlap too much. I have an ez guide 500 and ez steer in another tractor that could be used. I am not real fond of the 500 since it ocasionally will lock up and have to be restarted. This problem seems to come and go in streaks. I have the newer software but I think I need to rewire my power plug, last night I touched to plug and it shut down and restarted.

My Question is what is the cheapest and most user friendly way to get into auto boom shut offs. It currently has a raven 440? The raven 440 seems to be bullet proof. Could I install the ez500 for boom shutoff and keep the raven for rate control?
Thanks
